1 What grading scale do you use?
Grading Scale
1. Percent Range : A+ 95-100 ; A 90-94 ; B+ 85-8 9 ; B 80-84 ; C+ 75-79 ; C 70-74 ; D+ 65-69 ; D 60-64 ; F below 60
2. GPA Scale : A+ = 4 ; A = 4 ; B+ = 3.3 ; B = 3 ;C+ = 2.3 ; C = 2 ; D+ = 1.3 ; D = 1 ; F = 0
3. Honor's GPA Scale : A+ = 4.5 ; A = 4.5; B+ = 3.8 ; B = 3.5 ; C+ = 2.8 ; C = 2.5 ; D+ = 1.8 ; D =1.5 ; F = 0
4. AP GPA Scale : A+ = 5.0 ; A = 5.0 ; B+ = 4.3 ; B = 4.0 ; C+ = 3.3 ; C = 3.0 ; D+ = 2.3 ; D = 2.0 ; F = 0

2 Are you a college prep school?
Both Yes and No are our answers. A majority of our students go on to colleges,
so we do have multiple rigorous sets of courses to prepare students well for colleges.
But, we always do focus on serving all Christian families. -
3 Are books included in tuition?
No, textbooks are not included in tuition.

4 Do you have cafeteria services?
Yes. We have cafeteria services for both students and teachers. Lunch is provided for all day students.
However, all three meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided for the boarding students.
The menus can be found in the weekly newsletter, and all foods are free of MSG. -
5 Do you follow a traditional school calendar year?
Yes, we do start in late August and end in early June with traditional Christmas and Spring breaks.

6 Do the students wear uniforms?
Yes, students wear school uniforms.

7 What are the school hours?
On a regular school day, homeroom begins at 8:50 a.m. and school is dismissed at 4:15 p.m.

8 What are your class sizes?
Each grade-level composes 1~ 3 classes with each class having a student to faculty ratio of 15:1.

9 Is Belleville Christian School accredited?
Belleville Christian School is fully accredited by Accreditation Service for International Schools, College and University (ASIC), World Association of Christian School(WASC) and Christian Schools International (CSI).
Belleville Christian School is a candidate for accreditation with COGNIA, NCA, CASI, NWAC AND SACS CASI and Recognition by ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE.

10 Do you have dormitory or guest-house services?
A student dormitory is well ready for students. Entering the dormitory requires certain conditions such as high academic achievements, living areas and etc.
Moreover, guest house services for missionaries are well prepared too.
